Anti-Oppressive

Fee Structure

  • What is an anti-oppressive fee structure?

The sliding scale pricing model is rooted in solidarity economics and redistributive justice. This carefully designed tiered pricing system demonstrates my commitment to social justice and aims to make therapy accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

It also enables me to sustain my work while promoting equitable access, solidarity, and reparative justice.

Please note that this sliding scale was inspired by:

  • How do the fee structure work?

This comprehensive system features five carefully structured tiers that balance practical sustainability with community needs.

Redistribution -for those with financial privilege who want to support access for others.

Full Cost - the standard session rate for therapy sessions.

Sustain - for those who can pay most of the fee but need some flexibility.

Solidarity - reduced rate for those with limited financial resources.

Reparations - for those most impacted by systemic oppression and barriers to care.

  • Do I need to prove my income or financial situation?

No. I trust you to know your financial reality best. I don't require documentation, tax returns, or proof of hardship.

I will ask you to complete a form that helps determine the tier that not only feels comfortable but is sustainable for you. And I will talk to you about those results before our first session.

  • How do I collect payments?

I use Ivy Pay to process all payments for assessments and services. Ivy Pay is a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment platform designed specifically for healthcare providers and therapists.

    Benefits of Ivy Pay:

HIPAA-Compliant & Secure: Your payment information is protected with bank-level encryption, ensuring your privacy and security.

No Hidden Fees: The fee you see is the fee you pay — no surprise processing charges on your end.

  • Can I use insurance?

I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide you with a superbill that you may be able to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan's out-of-network benefits.

I'm happy to discuss this during our consultation.

  • Can I split payments over time?

Payment plans are available only for assessments. I can divide the total into (3) monthly payments.

  • What are the prices for Individual Therapy?

    Redistribution ($250)

    Full Cost ($200)

    Sustain ($150)

    Solidarity ($100)

    Reparations ($70)

  • What are the prices for a Single Assessment?

    Redistribution ($2,250)

    Full Cost ($1,500)

    Sustain ($1,125)

    Solidarity ($750)

    Reparations ($375)

  • What the prices for an Assessment Bundle?

    Redistribution ($2,900)

    Full Cost ($1,935)

    Sustain ($1,450)

    Solidarity ($970)

    Reparations ($480)

  • What are the prices for an Accommodation Letter?

    Redistribution ($225)

    Full Cost ($150)

    Sustain ($115)

    Solidarity ($75)

    Reparations ($40)

  • Why don't you just charge one flat rate?

Because access to care and resources shouldn't depend on wealth. Sliding scale pricing is an anti-oppressive practice that acknowledges economic inequality and makes space for more people — especially BIPOC, queer, disabled, and marginalized folks — to get the support they deserve.
